To get a chemical to really make the cut, a minimum of one scientific study was required to show that mit had hormone disruption effects. However, Carol Kwiatkowski, PhD, executive director and senior research associate in the Endocrine Disruption Exchange, says researchers found multiple studies indicating hormone disruption being an effect of lots of the chemicals listed.
