When seeking employment, and while on the job, keep makeup and perfume to a minimum. Makeup should use natural tones and highlight your natural features. Too much makeup can be distracting to your qualifications. Perfume smells can linger for a long time in small office spaces. For this reason, and the fact that some people are allergic, you should avoid it in the office.
