As we well know, owning a vehicle of any kind is a huge responsibility and like any big responsibility, a person's main objective is to stay accident free. And even though getting an insurnace policy is time consuming, it could save everyone a pile of cash, again and again.. Owners of vehicles pay lots of money for insurance, hoping that they'll avoid large costs when their vehicle meets an accident. However, when an accident happens, they get a lot less than they expected. Case in point, I remember when I bought my first car and I keep in mind that I had to buy some insurance for it. So, I got online to research and saw plenty of insurance companies who were making good offers but those same ones were very expensive. I selected one insurance offer which was cheaper than the others. Still I was not happy because the amount which I had to pay every month was more than I could afford. I had other monthly expenses like rent and paying 100 [ dollars] every month was too much for me personally. One more good reason why I disliked the offer which I had selected was that after first three months, the premium amount was going to be reduced for 100 dollars to 70 dollars.. However, the premium failed to fall to 70 dollars after 3 months. The excuse given of the company was that the premium reduction benefit was only for customers who has been because of the company for more than a year.. I was really dissapointed when I heard this and I felt cheated by a company which I trusted so much. It was like a liability which didn't really give me any benefit. I realized that when I met an accident, I could have to go searching for a body shop which would repair my car. I don't have enough time for such things.. I felt really sad about paying the premiums. I feared that the company would change its rules every month and slowly I would be paying an increasing number of premium to help keep the insurance policy. The greatest negative knowledge about the car insurance company was when I finally did have an accident which was a hit and run from the other driver, and also the liability insurance didn't cover anything. I went to the insurance company's office, but was shocked by their response. I was told that their company did not cover the situation that I was in.. The biggest shock in my situation was when the company asked me to pay the towing charges to take my vehicle from the accident site to the garage. Earlier the company had assured me which I would not have to pay any towing charges and my policy covered towing charges. To everyone that is reading this article, I would prefer to say that don't buy the most affordable insurance policy that you find.
